Protx Payment gateway for Ezpublish

Protx is a UK company supported by all the major banks. The difference with protx rather than WordPay, Paynet or Authorise.net is that you pay a static monthly fee and get the rates you negotiate with your card provider. The more your negotiate the less you pay. The more successful your business the better rates you can get.

If your business is reasonably successful you negotiate rates far lower than the other "online only" payment gateways.

It also never leaves your site so you don't get the payment part of your site jumping to the gateway provider and loosing contact with your customer.

The customer adds to basket and when they go to pay, it stays in your site and securely negotiates payment via secure curl ssl. Basically the server talks to the other sever.

The customer doesn't see a thing. They can then go on to shop some more, if there that way inclined.

It's a seamless solution with cheaper that normal rates for taking online payments.
